Poppies

Well after 4 months of no scrapping and having no inspiration to do so,I've finally managed to do a layout. I've been playing about with a few for weeks but finished this one yesterday. I'm still not sure how I feel about it,or if I've got my mojo back, but it's done and at least it's a step on the way. I took the poppy photo at Almondvale Heritage Centre back in August 2007 and decided to use it. I had already done a Print&cut decoupage of it for a card (which you can see in a previous post) and also added that to the LO. Not sure if decoupage on a LO is the right thing to do,but I did it anyway. I cut all the swirls on a Cricut at a crop and also cut the Basic Grey paper into Scallops with it.The large P is a Bazzill really big letter and the rest I cut on my Robo. The font is called Coaster. Used my Crop-A-Dile to set the eyelets and threaded some red, black and white ribbon through.

That LO is fab. Love the colour scheme and the great use of crop-a-dile and ribbons. Thanks for my bit of rock music to get me going.

Very nice card. Wanted to say Prosit for your scrap book pages too. I especially like 'When Harry Met Louis'. Well done.

Hi Cass, think this page is great! But, I do have to say I always love your scrap pages, the lo's & embellies you use. I do think if someone could bottle 'mojo' it would make them a fortune....lol.
