Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Saturday and another new challenge at

This week the theme from Team Abi is
Christmas In August

I've used this super cute little snowman called Festive Snooze from Digistamps4joy for my card this week. He really does look like he's been rather jolly and is needing to sleep it off!
I've coloured him with my copic markers in colours to match the digi papers from Nitwit Collections. I love the shades of purple and green. I kept it quite simple and added some holly corners with some purple pearls. Again keeping with the colour scheme.

T4T Designs - Wedding Belle

Thursday again and my regular Time For Tea DT post.

For my card I've used this gorgeous wedding image called Wedding Belle. She's available to buy in the Time For Tea Designs Etsy shop

I've coloured her with my copic markers although the dress wasn't too hard..lol
I used the gorgeous Everlasting digi papers from Nitwit Collections. Did I ever mention I love Nitwit collections?
I cut out a circle of the coordinating papers for the middle of the doily, and mounted her on foam pads for some dimension. I cut the forever in a lovely deep rich pink cardstock and some tiny hearts.
Finished off with some pearls.

T4T Designs - Reading Girl

Thursday again and my regular Time For Tea DT post.

Today I'm using this lovely digi stamp called Reading Girl. She's available to buy in the T4T Designs Etsy shop. I love reading myself so had to buy her. I wanted to go slightly vintage so coloured her in brown tones with my Copic markers. I paper pieced her top with  a paper from Raspberry Road Calico Patches digi paper set. I also did the book with it. I used my distress tool on both the papers and roughed up the edges. The old paper I tore a V out of and then scrunched up in my hand so it would be all crinkled when I opened it back out. I layered it onto the floral paper and used my Timh Holtz stamping platform to stamp the dream in the V. I cut the hearts out using kraft, corrugated card and some of the script paper and layered them up, adding a twine bow. I added the distressed metal button and scattered a few dewdrops.

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Saturday and another new challenge at

This week the theme from Team Abi is
CAS

CAS is really not my style but I had coloured this fab Little Monster digi by Goebie Designs for the 30 Day Colouring Challenge on Instagram, so decided to use him on a card. I recently bought a Gelli plate having no idea what to do with it but watched some videos on Youtube and decided to give it a go. I used 3 Distress Oxides in Peacock Feathers, Picked Raspberry and Twisted Citron to match the colours I'd coloured him with. I brayered them on the gelli plate and pressed the stencil onto it. I removed the stencil and pressed my white card onto it. It was fairly basic but I was happy with my first attempt. I used my TH stamping tool and stamped the quote onto it. I layered the  panel onto my card blank, added the monster on some foam pads and added some Nuvo drops.

T4T Designs - Roses

Thursday and my regular Time For Tea DT post.

For my card I've used this pretty image called Roses. She's coloured with Copic markers as always.  I've been practising doing pleats and folds. I used some Nitwit collections papers and made a patched effect with them. I doodled round the image with a black fineliner and also round the sentiment which is by Paper Smooches.
I cut out 3 circles by hand from the patterened paper and scrunched them up. I then opened them out and glued them together to give this primitive style flower. A few pearls to finish.

I've used the Boy image from the You're A Star set. I've coloured him with my copic markers and doodled round the edge. The papers are from Nitwit Collections. I've matted and layered them and doodled round the edges of them too. I cut the Circle Star Wreath and cut it in half, adding half under the circle layer at opposite corners. I then cut the Robo Star and layered it in different contrasting colours to match the papers. I stamped the sentiment using a few sentiments from the stamp set and cut it out with a fish tail banner die. A few extra stars to finish it off. Perfect for a male.

For my card I've used Birthday Bonnie and coloured her with my Copic markers. For the background I used three of the elements from the set. The present, large bow and Birthday sentiment. I added the to a blank word document and randomly spaced them out. I them printed it out and cut to size for my blue cardstock mat. I then cut the word happy on my Brother ScanNCut twice and glued them together to make it thicker. I also cut Bonnie out on the SNC with a 1mm border. Some blue dewdrops to finish off.
