Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Saturday and another new challenge at

This week the theme from Team Abi is
CAS

CAS is really not my style but I had coloured this fab Little Monster digi by Goebie Designs for the 30 Day Colouring Challenge on Instagram, so decided to use him on a card. I recently bought a Gelli plate having no idea what to do with it but watched some videos on Youtube and decided to give it a go. I used 3 Distress Oxides in Peacock Feathers, Picked Raspberry and Twisted Citron to match the colours I'd coloured him with. I brayered them on the gelli plate and pressed the stencil onto it. I removed the stencil and pressed my white card onto it. It was fairly basic but I was happy with my first attempt. I used my TH stamping tool and stamped the quote onto it. I layered the  panel onto my card blank, added the monster on some foam pads and added some Nuvo drops.

T4T Designs - Roses

Thursday and my regular Time For Tea DT post.

For my card I've used this pretty image called Roses. She's coloured with Copic markers as always.  I've been practising doing pleats and folds. I used some Nitwit collections papers and made a patched effect with them. I doodled round the image with a black fineliner and also round the sentiment which is by Paper Smooches.
I cut out 3 circles by hand from the patterened paper and scrunched them up. I then opened them out and glued them together to give this primitive style flower. A few pearls to finish.

The 4 new stamp sets are

All are available to buy in the Time For Tea Designs Etsy store.

I've used the Boy image from the You're A Star set. I've coloured him with my copic markers and doodled round the edge. The papers are from Nitwit Collections. I've matted and layered them and doodled round the edges of them too. I cut the Circle Star Wreath and cut it in half, adding half under the circle layer at opposite corners. I then cut the Robo Star and layered it in different contrasting colours to match the papers. I stamped the sentiment using a few sentiments from the stamp set and cut it out with a fish tail banner die. A few extra stars to finish it off. Perfect for a male.

I added the to a blank word document and randomly spaced them out. I them printed it out and cut to size for my blue cardstock mat. For my card I've used the girl and sentiment from the Milkshake & Iced Coffee full collection. She is also available to buy on her own. Both are in the Time For Tea Designs Etsy store
I coloured her as always with my copic markers.
I used this fantastic Latte Cup Card cutting file from My Scrap Chick. I love having my ScanNCut for doing something just a bit different. I used the gorgeous Nitwit Collections "Fairytale Dreams" digi papers to decorate it. I cut a strip of the patterened paper to make the straw as it doesn't come with that. Some twine and the sentiment to finish it off.

T4T Designs - Stars & Stripes

Happy 4th Of July!

Today our friends in the USA are celebrating Independence Day. Six years ago today I gave mine up and got married!

For my card I've used this perfect image called Stars & Stripes who is available in the Time For Tea Designs Etsy store

I've coloured her in with my copic markers in red, white and blue of course. I bought this Penny Black Starry die just a week or so ago and it fitted in exactly with what I wanted on the card. I cut it out twice on my piece of white cardstock and backed each one with red and blue cardstock. I mounted it with 3d foam tape on some layerd red white and blue cardstock. Added the dewdrops and printed the sentiment on the PC. Lovely simple card!

T4T Designs - July Challenge "Hit The Beach"

Today being the 1st of July sees Time for Tea Designs starting off a new challenge to run for the month of July.

This month's challenge is called Hit The Beach.
We’d like to see those beachy colours and/or themed projects.
The prize will be 3 digi stamps of your choice to a winner who will be voted for.
A second prize of 1 digi stamp will be chosen at random.
4 entries will also be chosen to feature on T4T Designs social media at the end of the challenge. These will be our T4TD Diamonds.
All winners will be able to grab a button for their blog.

For my card I've used the beautiful Beach Girl available to buy in the T4T Designs Etsy store
I've coloured her with my Copic markers to match the beautiful Sun Kissed digital papers from Nitwit Collections. I actually merged some of the items in the collection in Paint to make the beach scene. A cut some hibiscus stamens on my ScanNCut and added them to my Prima flowers to give a more tropical look. A little seashell charm on some twine to finish it off.
