Blog Candy

I can't quite believe I've had 5000 visitors to my blog in such a short time. I'm so overwhelmed, and have had such lovely comments left on my cards and scrapbook pages. As a little thank you to everyone who visits,I'm going to give away some lovely blog candy as a HUGE thank you. As I like to think I'm part cardmaker and part scrapbooker (some might disagree!) I've included stash that I think will appeal to both.
Here's a little rundown of what's included and some pictures.

12x12 Paperpack from The Little Yellow Bicycle range called The Delightful Collection which you can see here
3 12x12 of the decorative edged papers from the same range.
A selection of 8x8 papers from Papermania and Dovecraft.
1 Fancy Pants acetate overlay (Polka Dot Border)
1 pack of Fancy Pants Sweet and Pretty Pins

1 pack of Basic Grey Buttons
1 pack of Karen Foster Fancy Brads

1 pack of Dovecraft Glitter Brads (Retro Floral)
2 packs of Studio G Clear Stamps
3 Craftwork Card Embossed Scalloped Frames
A selection of blooms from my stash including some Flora Doodles
Some gorgeous ribbon
A selection of stamped images including
Bellas,Flowers,Fairies and some others.

What I'd like you to do is leave a comment telling me what your favourite rock song is and link to my Blog Candy.
If you want you're also w
elcome to make a card or scrapbook page with a rock theme.
I'll get Louis to pick a name at random hopefully by next Sunday night (11th May)
Have fun!

My current favourite is Nickelback 'Rockstar'. All the kids in my class (11 year olds) love it, but I daren't play it as there is a 'rude' word!! The kids all can sing it though! I have to admit that my first love has always been Status Quo - 'Rocking all over the world'. Thumbs in belt loops and shake that hair!!!

Hi Cass - what amazing candy!! My favourite rock song is Born to Run, Bruce Springsteen. I remember hearing it for the first time when I was quite young and it made the hairs stand up on the back of my neck. Have linked to your candy.

My fav song is 'blame it on the love of rock and roll' and second fav is Aerosmith I don't wanna miss a thing which I had at our wedding back down the aisle after being married. Didn't go down well with a set of grandparents though!

Ok, so maybe it's not exactly rock rock, but it's a great song and Michael Bolton is classified as classic rock (I think LOL).

Yummy looking candy by the way. Some great looking stuff there.

Pick just ONE? Are you funning me? That is like picking your favorite child. LOL!

Here is what I'm listening to currently:

Looooooooooooooove Biiiiiiiiiiiiites by Def Leppard. :D We saw them last year at Marysville...just a bit up the road from us. And yes, there were plenty of mullets. They still rock it!

Ooh...song changed...oh wait, NOT admitting I have this on my iPod. LOL!

Hi Cass! May I become one of your friends? LOL How could I missed your blog? Someone who loves rock music AND cardmaking!!! Its hard to pick up just one song as I love so many late 80's-early 90's rock bands... Lets see... My heart can't choose between "Still of the night" by Whitesnake or "Shake and Tumble" by firehouse... oh and Lillian Axe! LOL Congrats for all your great cardmaking and scrapbooking creations!

Hiya Cass,

I'm a bit of a rock chick myself so I'm struggling to choose just one - guess it all depends on my mood but my fave at the moment is Don't Stop Believin by Journey (who I saw in concert last year and TOTALLY recommend)

I also have a bit of a thing for Bon Jovi (like who wouldn't!), Aerosmith, some Metallica and classic GnR (Patience has a special somewhere!)

Off to put a link on my blog http://foxcrafts.blogspot.com

Congrats on your 5000 vistors.

Pour Some Sugar On Me is definitely a favorite one. My sister and I used to spin and spin and spin then fall down to this song (we were young in case you didn't know). More current, I love Incubus. That's a band and not a song, but I like a LOT of their songs. I made this card a little while ago, but it is just perfect as far as rock theme, so here is a link: http://vanpalmperk.blogspot.com/2008/04/rock-band.html
Hope you like it!

How generous of you?! Stacks of lovely stuff! Right, down to business.....my favourite rock song is 'The Bends' by Radiohead, closely followed by 'Its a Kind of Magic' by Queen. I think we can safely say I have 'eclectic' tastes in music! ~x~

Hi Cass I have to admit that Im not really a rocker. However I have to listen to it all the time as my hubby is a huge Deep Purple ,Whitesnake,Dio fan. If I have to choose my favourite song from a rock band I would choose all right now by free .I know ,I know not exactly heavy but still classed as rock I hope.
hugs from Karen

Thanks for offering the fun blog candy. I think Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody is my favorite Rock song of all time. I generally like most of the Rolling Stones songs too. I'm not into the heavier stuff, but I'm crazy about the good old fashion Rock & Roll music:)

Congrats Cass on such a great accomplishment! What an amazing prize to a lucking winner! And also a cool way to add rock into the mix...picking ONE favorite rock song took some time. I can barely narrow it down to one song per album of my favorite bands. So I decided to go with my favorite song by my favorite band Metallica and the song is 2x4. I posted your contest and a simple rock LO I did on my blog over at http://monatyza.blogspot.com/2008/05/cass-is-celebrating-5000-hits-on-her.html
:)

Wow, thats' a lot of candy. Well I hope to reach the 5000 too one day, but by now my counter says 00001 :(, but you have to start somewhere.

Well my favourite rock song will be "Paradise by the dashbordlight" from Meatlove.

Now I just gotta link you.
