Lots Of Balloons

I've been dying to have a play with my new MFT Blueprints 26 dies. I seen loads of cards on Pinterest made with them and knew I had to buy them when they were released. I made a couple of quick and easy cards and not a coloured image in sight! Definitely not my usual style.

40's Fashion

The 1940's fashion era is one of my favourites along with the 20's (House Of Elliott), so when Krista brought out these new digis I had to get them.This is the 40's fashion girl.

I decided to add the polka dots to her dress just to make it a bit different.

I decided to colour up one of my unused Saturated Canary digis. This is the lovely Neeve with her coffee. I've gone with kraft card and earthy tones. I bought the coffee cup die from Memory Box and it went perfectly with this image.

Hayley The (Super) Hero

Back with another of my new Stamping Bella Tiny Townies. This time it's Hayley the Hero. I've coloured her along the lines of Captain America,as I had BoBunny papers called Liberty which were very American patriot in colours and style. It was also American Independence Day on the 4th Of July (and my wedding anniversary),so quite apt. I also had a set of stamps that said POW so masked her slightly and stamped it behind her. Circle nesties to make the "shields".

Geek Chic

I absolutely love Stamping Bella stamps and have soooo many of them. So I just had to treat myself to a few of the new Tiny Townies.This one is Sage Loves Science. I had the perfect set of stamps to use along with her from Bert and Gert's, called Science Club. I masked her and stamped the periodic table behind her. I also had a tiny little bottle and filled it with some orange Stickles.

Steampunk

A bit out of the usual for me but Gaynor at Craft World asked me if I would demo last weekend at their Papercraft Extravaganza using Flex/Promarkers and this is one of the stamps she chose. It's a really big stamp by Prima called "Emily" from their Bloom Girl collection. I had to use one of my Big Shot cutting plates as a stamp block she's that big! The card is A4 in size. It was also a bit of a challenge using the Flex/Promarkers as I usually use Copics.The techniques were no problem,I just didn't know the colour combinations. So a quick Google and a look on Pinterest helped me out.

For my card I've used one of the new Gorjuss Girl stamps called Sweet Tea available at Funky Kits.I absolutely love the Gorjuss girls. I decided to go for a vintage look with this card. I used up some old K&Co papers that I've had for yonks and punched the flowers out of the same paper to keep it co-ordinated. I also paper pieced the cup.
