Gorjuss Girl And Copics

Here's my first Gorjuss Girl.I held off buying them because I've got a thing about no mouths (like Magnolias) but I made an exception with these as they've kind of grown on me (unlike Tildas!...lol)
I've got to thank the fabulous Rach for her Copic tutorial on her blog, which you can find HERE. She made the tutorial so easy to follow and look so easy, even though it's not.I learned more from her tutorial in a few hours than I did in a few weeks reading others. I'm happier with the colouring of this although I still need loads of practise.

Image - Gorjuss Girl coloured with Copics
Cardstock - SU Chocolate Chip and Bashful Blue
Papers - SU designer Series in Choc Chip and Bashful Blue

Flowers - Papermania
Pearls - Kanban
Eyelets - Papermania
Ribbon,buttons and cording from stash.

I took Louis through to Edinburgh on the 'big' train yesterday and we popped up to the castle for a bit and then had a wee walk down the Royal Mile.It was absolutely FREEZING and we were lucky if we heard another Scottish/British accent. It was heaving with tourists. My camera wasn't working very well (I think the batteries were too cold...lol) so only got a few pics. Here's one of Louis anyway (posing as usual).

Hiya Cass, your card is gorgeous and I think your copic colouring is fantastic, I would never have thought you'd just started with them. I do like the gorjuss girls too and also held off on buying them but have just got a couple. You made me laugh about the 'no mouths', I'm kind of ok with that, I think for me it's that I could never buy loads of them, one or two is enough for me. I think there are a couple of the Gorjuss from the new set coming out that I might get too, there's something about their poses I think. Glad you had a good day out with Louis even if you did freeze your toes off! He looks so cute posing for the pic, they all seem to love doing it at that age, I have a lot of very similar ones of my boys LOL. Hope you have a great weekend and your card is really beautiful. A beautiful card Cass, you did a great job with the copics, it takes a little bit of practise to get used to how the pens work.. I am so glad to hear that you got some use out of my tutorial, it is nice to hear..
your little man looks adorable in his casual pose..

Hello Cass, well this is lovely :) I do love SU papers/cardstock, such a gorgeous combo and your colourings fab ! Have to say i'm finding copics difficult to get to grips with...think it's cos i've used promarkers for a while, although they do the same thing somehow they are different ? if that makes sense, lol.

What a handsome little chap Louis is!

Have a lovely weekend Cass, love Katy x
